Lake Caldonazzo

Of glacial origin, Lake Caldonazzo is the largest natural lake in the province. Its clear waters reflect the surrounding mountains, creating a breathtaking view.
Thanks to its pleasant water temperatures, which can reach up to 27°C, it’s perfect for a refreshing swim or a relaxing moment by the lake.

Unlike most alpine lakes, the water remains shallow for several meters from the shore, allowing even the youngest children to play and swim safely.

The well-maintained pebble beaches invite visitors to sunbathe or take a refreshing dip.

Lake Caldonazzo combines a welcoming environment, beautiful beaches, and easy access from the campsite – ideal for relaxation and fun for the whole family.

The lake is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts: canoeing, kayaking, SUP, sailing, and windsurfing are just some of the activities available.

Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy a wide variety of fish species, while motorboats up to 4 hp are allowed.

Lake Caldonazzo has received the prestigious Blue Flag award, an international recognition for excellent water quality and eco-friendly tourism management.

Dogs are not allowed on most beaches, but a small dedicated area for pets is available. More info
